For the past 25 years I have worked with a broad range of clients and clinical issues. One of my specialties is working with couples who have experienced the trauma of infidelity as well as couples who need help navigating longstanding relationship issues and conflicts. My training in Psychodynamic which builds on a Developmental Model and integrates Attachment theory, Neurobiology and the concept of Differentiation. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who is now transitioning to working as a Relationship Coach. Coaching offers me the opportunity to meet with clients throughout the U.S and Europe.
Most people want to communicate and connect deeply to their partner but often lack the skills and sometimes even the language to do so. With a little guidance, I believe that you and your partner have the capacity to achieve a full and satisfying partnership. Inevitably, all relationships face conflict when differences arise. Relief and resolution are possible.
If you choose to work with me, each of you will be stretched to your growing edge resulting in personal and relational growth. I like to think of this as a collaboration where each partner becomes a guardian of the relationship. I utilize a very specific communication approach that will teach you how to be present for each other in the midst of conflict with compassion and receptivity instead of defensiveness and anger. If you and your partner are craving a deeper, more loving connection but don't know how to get there, you may be ready for couples coaching.
I recently relocated from California to Southern Portugal with my husband where I now make my home and meet virtually with clients in the U.S. and Europe.
