ABOUT

I help professionals and couples in business together stop sabotaging their most important relationships. If you want to create the kind of resilient, honest and satisfying life that reflects the best of who you aspire to be both at home and at work, it is likely that I can help you.

With a PhD in Health Psychology and a MA in Counseling Psychology, I have helped small business owners, industry leaders, pace-setters, performing artists and creatives work through the challenges unique to their situation for over 25 years.

My approach is direct and discrete, no-nonsense and focused, proactive and highly personal. We begin with a comprehensive 360-degree assessment of what you are experiencing, followed by an in-depth exploration of how you would like to experience your life — not only in terms of your most intimate relationship, but also in terms of your profession. From there we team up to build the kind of relationships and life you want.

If you have a good internet connection, I am available to help you anywhere throughout California, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington.

For those with an urgent situation where time is a premium, I am available by special arrangement for accelerated in-person intensive sessions. These have been shown to bring about 6 months worth of results in as little as one weekend.

Give me a call at 425-324-3901 or shoot me an email at dr.kisling@drjeffkisling.com. Let’s explore how I can help.

All well-trained relationship specialists seek to offer advice, feedback, observations, and homework to help your relationship evolve.

Therapists and counselors have mandatory educational and licensing requirements that are determined by the state or country in which they practice. Obtaining this license requires a Masters degree which takes approximately two years of post graduate study. The license also requires 3000 hours of supervised work and passing written exams.

Counselors and therapists may make situational determinations about how deep to go into the personal history of each partner. They may seek to help you see where certain unhelpful patterns of behavior originated.
