ABOUT

Here you are again. Despite your best efforts, things between you seem to unravel and fall apart.

You yearn to be close, but you feel disconnected and taken for granted. Sex is unsatisfying, and you find yourself dreading the expectations of romance.

Stuck in a stubborn cycle of hurt, you feel more fatigued, discouraged, or disillusioned than ever. Tired of the repeated arguments that go nowhere, perhaps you find yourself wondering why you are together.

Relationship pain is a warning something important needs attention. When that pain is repetitive, it’s telling you that it’s not going to be enough to simply put things back to the way they were.

I specialize in helping men, women, and couples with demanding careers put a stop to the repetitive patterns of pain that sabotage their most important relationship. These include business owners, executives, performing artists, attorneys and health professionals. With a Ph.D. in Health Psychology and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, I have helped men and women create resilient, satisfying relationships for over 25 years.

Do you want more of any of these?

• Closeness and open-hearted intimacy

• Deep mutual trust

• Shared purpose and shared respect

• Satisfying erotic play

• More fun and less stress

• End endless arguing

• Stop relationship sabotage

• Freedom from past trauma and hurt

• Recovery from betrayal

• Better career • love • life balance

Healthy relationships are resilient places of growth and haven where we create support for each other in our hopes, dreams and fears. This becomes more and more possible as we learn how to act on our relationship weaknesses in ways that become our relationship strengths.

Should we decide to work together, you will learn practical, actionable insights and skills that can help you more effectively navigate areas of challenge both as a couple and as individuals. You will be given tools that can empower to actively change the course of your relationship for the better.

My style is direct and discrete, no-nonsense yet gentle, proactive and personal. I am exclusively online and conveniently available for anyone living in California, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington.

For those where time is a premium, I am available by special arrangement for in-person accelerated intensive sessions. These have been shown to bring transformative results in as little as one weekend. Couples often request a second accelerated intensive because they found their experience so effective.

If you are ready to explore how you can create the kind of relationship that reflects the best of who you aspire to be, I invite you to give me a call. I can be reached at 425-324-3901 or dr.kisling@drjeffkisling.com. Let’s talk.
